1. Register at Mentaal Beter
We are glad you are taking the next step in your recovery. In order to receive treatment at Mentaal Beter, you must first be registered. You can have this done by your doctor, but you can also do it yourself. On this page we will explain how you can register with Mentaal Beter.
2. Register children and youth (4-18 years)
To register and start treatment, we need a valid referral letter. This referral can be made by the GP, the district team or the municipality. It is possible that Mentaal Beter receives the referral letter directly from the referrer, but it is also possible that you receive the referral letter from the referrer.
If you have received a referral letter from your GP, you can send it to us by email. This can be done in two ways:
- Send the digital referral letter in the attachment;
- Take a photo of the referral letter with your smartphone and send it in the email.

3. Register Adults (18+)
To register and start treatment, we need a valid referral letter from your GP. It is not possible to start treatment without this referral letter.
If you have received a referral letter from your GP, you can send it to us by email. This can be done in two ways:
- Send the digital referral letter in the attachment;
- Take a photo of the referral letter with your smartphone and send it in the email.
